We continuously improve the quality of our products as well as product functionality and usability. In aggregating new enhancements, we release the new versions of WnSoft products and number them according to the following scheme:
New Version – Discounted upgrade
Minor Version – Free upgrade
Maintenance Release – Free upgrade
New Version is a new significantly enhanced product with qualitative changes in functionality and usability. New Version is designated by a change in the number to the left of the decimal point of the number appearing after the product name, for example, PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.x to PicturesToExe Deluxe 8.x, where "x" means any Minor Version.
Minor Upgrade is a new Minor Version of a product that improves functionality or adds new features to the product, bearing a new second number such as 7.0 or 7.5.
Maintenance Release is a product revision or patch that improves the functionality of a product and does not contain any significant new features or enhancements. Maintenance Releases are not upgrades. Maintenance Release corresponds with the number after the second decimal point in version number. For example, 7.5.1, 7.5.2, and 7.5.3 are maintenance releases of version 7.5.
Each registered WnSoft customer is provided with free Maintenance Releases and free Minor Upgrades to the product they purchased. In addition, each registered customer is entitled to significant discounts on New Versions.
The WnSoft Team solely determines the availability and designation of software releases as Maintenance Releases, Minor Versions, and New Versions at its own discretion.
