Keyframe Animation Editor
Every object on a slide - a photo, a video clip, a text caption - can be animated with keyframes. Set a keyframe where motion starts and another where it ends, and PTE AV Studio animates position, zoom, rotation and 3D transforms between them. It's the same animation model used in professional video editors, applied to slideshows.
Speed modifiers control how the motion feels. The Smooth modifier moves an object along a Bezier curve instead of a straight line. Non-linear speed control lets you accelerate, slow down or freeze motion mid-animation. Parent-child containers animate whole groups of objects as one - the technique behind complex multi-layer scenes.
Audio Synchronization on the Timeline
The Timeline view shows slides, video clips and multiple audio tracks in one window, so you can place every slide change exactly on a musical phrase.
The Envelope tool adjusts volume with keypoints directly on the audio clip. Clips can be trimmed, cross-faded and linked to slides with time points. Audio waveforms are also visible in the Objects editor - so keyframe animations can be timed to the beat, not by guesswork.
Record a voice-over directly in the program, extract the soundtrack from a video clip onto its own track for separate editing.
Masks, Blending Modes and More
Masks control which part of an object is visible - video masks included. The Mask container adds blending modes - Multiply, Screen, Linear Dodge, Overlay and others - for double exposures and texture overlays without leaving the program.
Video speed is controlled with key points: speed up, slow down or freeze the action exactly where you need it. Frame interpolation blends frames together for smooth slow-motion without jerky playback. The Displacement Map effect distorts the surface of a photo or video - waves, ripples on water, drops of rain.
Chroma Key removes a green or any solid-color background from video clips.
Motion Blur
This effect simulates a camera shutter and adds a cinematic look to your show. Parts of objects with fast motion are blurred automatically. Available when you export a video. Directional Blur and Blur with Bokeh create an optical defocus around light sources. Dynamic Blur and Unsharp Mask can be animated with keyframes.
